Product Qualification
The output of the product development process is often a prototype that is not suited for production. In addition to product development, NCMS works with customers on their existing prototypes, patents and/or ideas that have proven capabilities but are not yet ready for production.
Prototypes developed as a proof of concept or technology demonstrator can have several problems. They may require too much power, be too bulky or too heavy, waste too much material or energy, or generate too much heat. NCMS’ product qualification and design review service will make the necessary changes to improve manufacturability, performance and usability.
Simulation & Design Verification
The purpose of simulation is to determine how a new design will behave before producing a new prototype. As part of the Design Review Process, NCMS engineers will incorporate changes to the prototype’s design and determine if it will still meet the functional requirements. In addition to Design Verification, Engineers may also identify areas that require reinforcement, critical model features and design parameters. As part of the optimization process, NCMS engineers can enhance the prototype’s design by reducing mass, improving stability and/or performance. Process Planning

Factory Planning
