The National Company for Mechanical Systems (NCMS) is pleased to announce that its Engineering Materials Laboratory (EML) has completed all the requirements for ISO 17025 accreditation from the Gulf Accreditation Center (GAC)
ISO 17025 specifies the "general requirements for the competence to carry out tests and/or calibrations, including sampling.
It covers testing and calibration performed using standard methods, non-standard methods, and laboratory-developed methods."
The Engineering Materials Laboratory (EML) is located at the NCMS industrial complex in Kharj, and specializes in Material Characterization and Material Quality Verification.
EML has proven capabilities in the testing of a wide range of engineering materials including metals, plastics and composites.
